I would love nothing more than to offer a completely ad-free experience. Unfortunately, that isn’t feasible at the moment unless a sponsor can help offset the significant costs associated with operating and maintaining the site. Many people would be surprised by the ongoing expenses required to keep everything running smoothly. At this time, I don’t have the resources to fully fund those costs out of pocket, which makes advertising and sponsorship support an important part of sustaining the community.

Shannon, I trust you that the upgrades will be worth us having to put up with a few ads. You have done a great job with the previous format so their shouldn't be a lot of complaints. The ads are no where near as bad as Competition Plus! Also there is no other forum like NitroMater.

Haven't seen a jet black backgroung but all the black headlines are bolder. And even the text seems easier to read which helps us old farts, which there are quite a few!

On the main page there is CF dividers but I actually turned OFF the dark reader plugin after the change (for FF ~ LibreWolf - Mint 21.3) and I looked at the same image on ungoogled chromium with the same results.
The single threads are all black IIRC & sub forums are CF dividers too.

I'm in dark mode which before was dark grayish background like the border of these posts. As you can see the background in the posts are now black as coal. Much improved; it looks good.

Fixed as I was unaware that people actually knew how to change the background to the dark side of nitromater....lol
