Why is it people say "It's unsafe" ?? but it's OK for match or exhibition. Come on it's either unsafe or safe, ya can't have it both ways.
Also there was double the safety safari, so it was actually SAFER.
People claim the fans did not like it...oh really, did anyone see fans leaving after seeing 4-wide??
PRO claims "WE WILL NOT RUN 4-WIDE"...Hmmm did ANY TEAM park their car at Z-MAX??? No, they all ran, just like they will at Vegas 2 and Z-MAX next year.

I think on the safety side.. in exibition instead of trying to lug it out like Hight did they would back off in a "exibition run/specialty event"... but for points.. you push it hoping to not loose points or the round....

Hight over drove the car, or it got away from him. However you want to put it. It happens to plenty of drivers, it's called driver error, no big deal he's human. 4-lane had nothing to do with it. Hight made the choice.

Didn't Hight say he stayed in it abit too long becasue he wasn't sure where the other two cars were at? or something along those lines on his interview on tv.

that's what I remember too...certainly it was driver error, but IMO, he doesn't make that error if it's not a 4-wide race

why not?.....if he's only racing Arend and doesn't seem him, why wouldn't he have stayed with it?

Yes he did admit, like I said, it happens. 2 lane or 10 lanes no matter he made the choice.

Bingo ! Racing 3 other cars with no chance of knowing whats going on .
Increases the chance of continuing a run that should be aborted if you can see the car in the other lane way ahead !
It's a shame you don't understand it from a safety perspective between CHAMPIONSHIP points and NO- CHAMPIONSHIP points, but as only a fan I guess you never will.
Let me make it as simple as possible. Why should the guy in lane 1 worry about what is going on in lanes 3 &4 if lane 2 is beating him to where he needs to lift. He can't see them in lanes 3&4. HE HAS NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE!!!! There is a wall there. He is going to drive it thinking he has a chance for 2nd place when he has no chance at all. KABOOM!!! WRECK!!!! If points are on the line they will do things to be (maybe) second when they should not have done in the first place. If points aren't on the line they lift knowing they just load up, and get ready for the next race that means something...POINTS!!
Like I said before if they want 4 wide. Lanes 1 &2 needs to only worry about lane 1 & 2. Lanes 3 & 4 needs to only worry about lane 3 & 4.
I am so done with this BS
