Inaugural Great Lakes Nationals (22 Viewers)

I follow Weather Underground, normally pretty reliable. 35% chance of rain, none falling now but it's in the area, until about 8pm when thunderstorms are expected to move in. I don't know how much rain they've already had but cloudy, 63 degrees and 95%RH might be pretty dicey. Hope they can pull it off.

Mick Steele with a boomer. Rules department please leave him alone - he's put in the work.
I see Steele's car peeled off a bunch of top-end speed which may keep the rule boys at bay. 5.41 is fantastic but I wouldn't think enough so to draw attention. Blown alcohol cars have gone quicker than that. Lindberg laid down a 5.36 - 11 years ago, in Charlotte.

In @nd round Sean went 5.435 and Steele a 5.446, I'd say that's pretty close. Going forward, just like in TAD, varying conditions can favor one combo over the next.

watching clay's video from friday, towing back to their pits i noticed the doucette trailer as they passed by.
greg hunter in #3 slot. how long has greg been driving and not alan bradshaw? they weren't at indy i'm pretty sure?
pretty sure alan was driving @ BIR?
Hunter drove for Doucette in 2025 several times. I don’t know the arrangements of either driver with the team. I’m guessing Bradshaw was either unavailable or maybe Hunter was paying to drive at this race.
