IN N' OUT Opens in TEXAS Today !

I live walking distance from an In-N-Out here in Vegas ... I would much rather have 5 Guys or Fatburger. You HAVE TO get a double-double because their patties are so small. That being said, I am very grateful for everything they are doing for Melanie, and I make sure to drop in and grab a shake or a lemonade a couple times a week.

The crazy line thing is happening here in Vegas too ... they just opened the first Steak and Shake in Vegas at the South Point, and Vegas has apparently gone nuts for it. Lines over an hour are not uncommon ...

It's pretty amazing what people will get emotional over isn't it?

Was she heavy? Judging by the tears I would guess she was!;)
She was pretty petite. But you are right about the fact that attendance will drop after the new wears off. It is the nature of the beast. I don't care how much you like or love something, after a while it just becomes average. There are 6 in-n-outs with in 10 miles of me, and I will go to one about twice a month. We have a sonic, five guys, islands, fat burger ,big boys, and the salty daug here also. Dam, know wander I'm so fat. I need to move out to the desert.

there are only so many ways you can make one and they all taste virtually the same!

My friend, you are sooooo wrong....come to Texas, we'll learn ya....the really good burger joints will tell you the secret is in the grill. Show me a grill seasoned with about 30 years of use and a chef that knows what he/she's doing, and I'll show you a burger unlike one you've ever tasted.

Agreed; good to see Melanie back in action this weekend and doing much better.

I've heard of the legendary BBQ down in your state but your still grilling it like a lot of other franchise's do.
BBQing is a different animal and is my prefered way of having a burger. If I ever make my way down to your area I will take you up on your offer! :D

The "Shake" is the star of the show at S&S!

5 guys have the best fries I've ever had!

Update ! The Frisco Operation is still too crowded for my tastes though I'm going that direction next Saturday and I might have the time to wait .

Another Location on Central Expressway opened up a few days ago and the radio was giving traffic info for it's grand opening last Wednesday !
Traffic at the exit was backed up onto the expressway causing a major problem !
They need more stores cause the cops can't handle it !
My brother was in Santa Barbara a few days for meetings and ate at In and Out three times and said it was extremely busy.

So that says to me in this day and time during a depression they can draw that kind of business it's a great burger for a good price and popular all which are good things !
But not the traffic Jams and crowds ! They Suc !

Oh and Go Mel !

IN N OUT is by far the greatest burger around. I've spent most of my life in SoCal and its a staple for us Californians. No matter which location you go to its amazing each and every time. Its one of those things that needs to go on your bucket list if you've never had the opportunity to try one. IN N OUT, it truly is WHAT A HAMBURGERS' ALL ABOUT! :D

If IN -N - OUT can sustain the quality, service, speed of delivery , etc. as they expand, they will make BELIEVERS out of all the skeptics, anywhere.

I know they served San Gabriel, but can sumbuddy substanciate (sp) they were concessioners at Fontana Drags '62 when yrs truly worked for Dean Brown?
The burgers then were AWESUM!
