Only if they let the AFC folks run Screw Blowers.....most have already switched over..and are getting ready to run NHRA sked for '09.

But to really answer your ?....I really don't know.

I truly hope so...for the fans and IHRA. A professional drag race without FC's of any type...is like circus without elephants.

A new title sponsor is fantastic news...no matter what.....a great step forward....yay!

I don't think the Funny Cars will be back this year. Rule book is out and no Funny Car rules.

I believe that the funnies will be booked in at several of the events and that the IHRA and its new sponsor will focus on the TF, PM, and PS classes this year and see about expansion of classes later. Remember, they got hit in the pocket for millions of dollars last year covering the points program and shoot outs. I think they are very wary of bitting off more than they can chew at this point.
