I think the drag boats (and most of the rest of the boat stuff) has been pretty much cut down to nothing with IHRA already, haven't they?
Pulling is still going on as normal, but I'm not sure how much that really costs IHRA to operate. I think the purse is pretty much covered by the pullers and their own sponsors. Regardless, unless the trajectory of IHRA improves significantly over the off-season, I kind of expect PPL (the pulling group) to separate from IHRA before next year and go back to operating on their own. They've been there before, Lucas Oil had taken them over when he was on his own motorsports ownership kick. When that ended the previous group took back over. The IHRA model of putting on pulls at drag strip doesn't seem to be playing out too well; attendance at Benson last night was abysmal. Lucas tried putting on winter pulls at Firebird like 10 years ago with similar results.
The other thing is the stock car series; I've never actually heard much about it but it seems like something is still going on with that.
