IHRA Announces Pro Entry List For Outlaw Nitro Series At Dragway 42

Jake Sanders is driving Mitch's TF car, Chuck Loftin is in the other. Mitch is bringing his altered and driving that in the 8 car AA/FA exhibition they added to this event.
Thanks. Any idea about Eric Stevens? Good looking car.

i think gary p. was in travis schumake's ride @ pomona2 last year? no clue about this weekend.
pretty sure this is an 1/8 mile race/track, for all the classes.
i'd go watch it if it was close.

I don't know Eric very well, I think met him once a few years back. But he is a privateer and like most guys funding their operations out of their own pockets, you attend the races that your budget and time allow for.

JAke Slater in FC? First I heard that name.

Jake works for Del and has for several years. They took one of Del's old cars and put the supercharged nitro combination that is going to be legal in the alcohol ranks in NHRA next year and that is what Jake is driving. They tested it last month at Cordova with pretty positive results. Jake is pretty sharp and he will do well.

Thank you! Glad to see so many getting to drive.

I like the IHRA schedule I can see nitro 3-6 times a year within an hour and a half, no lodging, under 100 bucks for the day.
I agree! Trails is 2 hours and Dragway 42 is 3 for me. I love the atmosphere of the IHRA races compared to NHRA. So much more laid back and all the drivers and crews seem to be having fun. If you are a true drag racing fan and love nitro, there is no way you could have any complaints about what the IHRA is doing
