How might 2026 IHRA schrdule conflict with NHRA?

IHRA released these 12 dates for 2026
Assuming these races occur, which dates would likely conflict with NHRA? If guys are goung to run all 12, for many it would be all of them. I don't see many doing 12 races plus more than maybe 1 or 2 NHRA races.

March 4-7
April 9–12
April 21–24
May 13–16
June 17–20
July 8–11
August 12–15
September 9–12
October 7–10
November 4–7

If I was to decide on when to run IHRA it would definitely depend on what race is where. Versus NHRA.
Unfortunately IHRA didn't list where the races are only the date. Lol

Originally they posted 12 races, one on January 14-17 and one on February 4-7. Possibly they are/were thinking about rivaling the Pro Superstar Shootout and the WSOPM?
The IHRA then posted this on their website yesterday to correct it.

Just doing simple math, if Nhra, doesn't change the weekends from this year Charlotte, Joliet Brainerd and Dallas will be affected.

sanctioning bodies never really cared about one or the other unfortunately so in the end , it hurts everyone especially nowadays with low car counts across the country.

I can see Charlotte and Joliet possibly being a problem. I don't think the others would effect the other races.

i agree with bruce. it hurts everyone. hate to say it, but as long as ihra is handing out equal cash, it will effect a handful of nhra races.
same with a lot of former FC and TF guys that ended up in heritage series, pro mod, or similar other go fast classes that really weren't
around 20+ years ago.

There may not have been a payout. The rumor was, the first year wasn't a full payout.

that would suck. the first two were excellent. i understand though if the money just wasn't working.
