The older looking nostalgia bodies handle speed just fine. We've gone 258 with a non aero Monza, no issues at all. I believe that was just blowing in someone's ear to get what they wanted. Must of worked !

John Hale, and Jason Rupert have run over 260 mph (John Hale went 5.58) with 69 Camaro bodies that very closely resembles a 69 Camaro.

Looks like NHRA has decided (based on public outcry) to revise the approval of Hodgson's body, with a revision to the nose already expected, and possibly a review of the nose, roof configuration and fenders.
