Any of you guys hear of Doug Doring... he used to run Conn Diesel... it ran in the high 9's now he went to a tube chassis & is running a pick up in the low 9's He is involved with the Diesel Truck series...
A buddy of mine has a crew cab Ford 4x4 diesel that scales out at just over 10,000 lbs. with the extra fuel tanks and massive bumpers. It's pretty hilarious to see it run 14.90 in the quarter with all of the smoke behind it. The sorry sucker running the Christmas tree is probably still trying to get himself clean!
It does good. The rods go away at 650 HP and 5000 RPM, but not bad for a stock diesel. The Cummins are good for 1000 HP in stock form, but they do not rev as well due to a longer stroke.
