Has anyone seen this? oh yeah , half the world:-)

what a performance. Outstanding. No way I would have ever guessed who it was, if I hadn't known.
when jack played the joker, you knew it was jack.

not so mr ledger. Such a shame he's gone.

you know Bob, my girlfriend Valerie and I saw that movie at Midnight Thursday, or friday morning i guess when it came out, on an IMAX screen. When he tore off the mask in the bank robbery scene, I literally got goose bumps. I was not a huge Heath Ledger fan, (ie Brokeback... uh... Yeah...) but, I HAD NO IDEA also that was him! He was so, SADISTIC, yet borderline "CRAZY"...("uh, what did your ballz drop off or something?...NOT... CRAZY"...my favorite line from the movie btw). I hate to say it, but everyone in that movie had some kind of DARK SIDE! That RULED IN MY BOOK! We are going to see it again next week, just to see it again! It is a shame that he won't be around to do a sequel... Amazing job... But, if your gonna live the life....you gotta be prepared for the damage it causes!

I will agree he stole the show with her performance but for the movie itself I just thought it was ok and a little long. And Jack is still the best Joker ever. Hands down. They were 2 completely different parts but to me, Jack is the Joker.

Here we go... Classic Batman... vs. the Dark Knight... ;)

Gonna have to disagree Justin. Jack's JOKER was just that, a JOKER. Very Slapstick and kinda weak. When I saw that movie, it didn't seem that it was much of a STREACH for him to play that role. It was JACK. That Joker was "COOL" and "SWAVE", not sick and twisted! He didn't do things like play a contest between two loads of people in a boat determained to either kill the other boat, or die themselves...The "HERO's" Friends did not die in that first Batman...Dude this Joker Not only Killed Batman's "DREAMGIRL" but also purposly took the ULTIMATE GOOD GUY and Turned him into the Twisted sick Two Face....and was twisted enough to Justify it to him as why he did it!.... PLUS, The Joker in a Nurse outfit w/ a red wig was just freaking Funny!

Yes, Jack was epic as the original Joker, and he "MADE" that 1st batman. But, the Joker that I grew up on, (the Dark Knight's Joker) was played Extremely well in this movie. Perhaps the Screenplay was better here, but I'll take Christian Bale and Heath Ledger over Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson any day...(AND I THOUGHT I'D NEVER HEAR MYSELF SAY THOSE WORDS EVER!!!)

I haven't seen the new movie yet, but...

Apples vs Oranges

That being said, I am quite certain that the new flick will rate high on my all time list and find a spot in my library.

"Have you ever danced with the devil...?"

I couldn't agee more. The Ledger Joker was a true psychopath, and believable. Ledger was truly incredible in that role.
