Probably because IHRA was a major sponsor, with a huge IHRA logo on the screen behind all the recipients.why wasn't there any coverage? it's kind of a big deal right? it's part of the 2026 kick-off, along with the garlit's hall of fame ceremony.
today is the first day of the gatornationals. what are the top 10 stories today on nhra.com?

there is (1) story in this list that interests me. there are almost 500 racers + countless sponsors on the grounds.
countless stories could be reported. seems like very few are.
was watching the don garlits drag racing H.O.F. ceremony on utube last night.
the stream cut off right after david reher started talking. completely missed rahn tobler part.
really enjoyed listening to steve boggs.

Ahhhh...... So it's your fault they are in a rain delay.but at least no rain in the forecast.
I'm guessing they reached their time limit on youtube. Hope they replay the whole thing later. I really wanted to hear Rahn's talk. I think NHRA has shown segments of prior events before at a later date, was watching the don garlits drag racing H.O.F. ceremony on utube last night.

Absolutely, if we could get Alan and Bob calling a session it would bring back a lot of memories.Hearing Frey in the booth was worth admission. Didn't miss a beat after 16 years
Oberhofer was on Kalitta's crew, and Schumacher was pummeling them for championships 2004-2009.What’s the past beef between Schumacher and Jim O both of them alluded to during qualifying today? I can kind of make up a scenario myself but wanted to see what you guys thought. Cool backstory.
Thanks, That’s about what I thought. I hoped there would be more to it.Oberhofer was on Kalitta's crew, and Schumacher was pummeling them for championships 2004-2009.
Still watching TF Qual 1 in a rain delay because I paused it. It's Bob Frey, Jason Galvin and Lohnes. Bob is doing all the talking telling old stories. It's priceless. Never knew the Nhra historical data base he has accumulated along with memorabilia. Lohnes and Galvin actually consult with him now for facts and trivia for race broadcasts. Hope they get him out to more races this year, at 80 he looks and sounds great.Hearing Frey in the booth was worth admission. Didn't miss a beat after 16 years
