Hey what happened? I heard only three showed up at the Con Rodz pit on Saturday (I got to the track too late) and on Sunday, only a handfull, the same 3 as Saturday showed up but it was great to meet Par Willen from Sweden. Nice to meet you Par and hope things go well with the bikes in Europe as well as for Katie Sullivan over here.

I met up with Lynn at the winner's circle, she showed up too late that's why she wasn't there. The Mater meeting was for Saturday at the Kon Rods pit but qualifying moved up to 10AM so that was shot and one of their crew guys wasn't able to get online and let us know.

It was nice meeting you again, BTW.

Yeah I was late for the Sunday meeting. lol I ran into Sam and his dad Sat. on my way to the Kon Rodz pit and he told me what was goin' on there so I didn't make it to that one either. I only had 2 days this year so it was kind of a short weekend for me. We usually go for the 4 days but money was a bit tight this year.

My wife and I couldn't find the Kon Rodz pit, I ended up asking one of the Harker twins where it was, she got me to the right area. But once we got there I didn't see the car (I was looking for a car that had KON RODZ in big letters on it), and actually took a pic of Cassie Simonton in the cockpit being towed to the starting line, but I didn't know she was the Kon Rodz driver until later in the day

It was good to see you and your Dad again too. Sorry the Kon Rodz pit deal on Saturday did not work out. I too would have been lost figuring out who they were as they did not have their name on the car yet. I was too late to be there on Saturday anyway. Sorry to miss you Dave P. and Lynn M. as I figured you were on the grounds somewhere. I had a blast, just wish there had been some cloud cover one or both days. It was blistering hot! The times (and fans) suffered for it on Sat. and Sunday. I heard Friday was cool all day. Dang. Missed all those record runs.

We were all over the place this year, and with no down time for rain for the first time in many years, it was hard to see all the pits and racing and warmups and special car displays...

Working on the photos, hoping to be done by the end of next weekend.
