So who is heading to the Gatornationals this weekend? I am driving down from Atlanta on Saturday evening and will be at the racetrack all day Sunday with a couple of newbies. The weather for Sunday isn't looking great right now, but Florida weather can change at the spur of the moment.....fingers crossed!!

Forecast Fri. Hi 73* Sat 79* SUN.81* on a sea level track, (167 ft) they'll be trying to rotate the earth.
Bring A sweatshirt and an eraser............... the eraser is for the record books.

Someone is CERTAINLY Going Quicker than 3.964 in FC. E-Town Dodge a MASSIVE Bullet at Pomona w/Force. It's not happening this time. Gainesville gets the Mark and only RP can hope for Primo Conditions this year and not 90 Degree Heat Wave like Last year to prevent any Records & to keep us in Bizarro World (No Pro Stock 6.49 Yet at RP, longest RP Dryspell since the first 6 second run in 1994)

Tomorrow will depend on how hot the track gets. Remember no night sessions and the forecast is for sunny skies with a high of 71. The final fuel session starts around 3pm.

If the rain holds off till later in the day on Sunday, I believe that's when the numbers will be laid down! Starting Saturday night the clouds are supposed to roll in and it should be overcast all day Sunday with a high of 75....the track should be tight! Fingers crossed, because that's when I'll be there!

WOW only 2 Q's and already top 5 P/S in the 6.4's - and a new natl. MPH record. Give me low temps & clouds every time.

Pro Stock was fun, not only Erica's national speed record, but Jeggie was only .07 MPH off Erica's speed in the debut of the Dart and Larry Morgan ran the quickest run ever for a 500 inch Ford.

Nitro was kind of underwhelming though, 4.10 on pole for FC?

Track temp was high

Track was tricky in the middle. There were some pretty good 60' and 330' times, good enough to run mid-low 4.0's but the track didn't hold it.

I'm with you Chris, rather disappointed with both fuel classes. I was expecting 2 - 3.9's from FC and 12 -3.7's from TF.
Was there a rule change, or weight added that I didn't hear about???
