And I was so glad that they didn't rehash the troubles between those two or ask either of them about it. Class move by espn, I know I'm tired of hearing about it I can only imagine how those 2 feel.

It was a "win...win" for both teams. I would have liked it much better if Capps could have gained the additional points from the win but a great weekend none the less for both teams. Congrats to the Matco team. I'm also glad there are no conspiracy theories to worry about.

To bad for the Brut team Whit didn't smoke the tires and let Ron get another 20 points. It's over now because John is going to come back and win the championship by 10 points... Oh well--they'll learn how to play the game one day.
BTW, I'm just kidding.

It was a good heads up race, and I'm very happy for Whit, Todd, and the Matco Tools team. Congratulations guys.

It's gotta' be tough when these "non"-teamates have to meet in the first round. This one was ALMOST as good as a win for the Bruts. Whit had to be ready to "go postal".

Wow! What a great event in Seattle! Congrats to BAZE on a great day for him. He's been overdue for a long time. Thus far, Don Schumacher has proven to be a True Racer! That's the best compliment you can pay a guy like him.

Yeah good ole Whit just had to take a DIG at someone.. It's a shame I was rooting for Whit to keep Capps from making more ground on Force... Was some pretty good arguments between the 5 of us watching the race as to who we would root for an why.... Maybe someday Whit will learn to be PC like John and do a little cussing but praise the hard work of other teams..

I thought it was a great final & congrats to Whit & Todd on their first win together.

What's interesting is that if I recall correctly, Whit seemed a little miffed when he heard Mike Ashley would be getting Brian Corradi as his crew chief. I got the impression Whit liked the one-two combination he had with those two talented tuners. Still, Todd steps up as a solo act and gets Whit his first Wally in a year & a half - Way to go!

Whit's version of reality is just fine..his problem is he has no space between his brain and his mouth. Which is good on occasions..but not in this one.

What would Tony Pedregon say about your statement? Oh, wait, I have some facts; Team Force has not put Force on the trailer yet this year. Capps took him out 4 times, Tony P. and Scelzi took him out twice, and Burkart, TJ, Bazemore, Densham, and Bartone have beat him one time.

That Force gave him a great ride, an opportunity to acheive success in the Syntec car, helped him attain many wins, a lot of exposure, knowledge, and oh yeah, I almost forgot--------a championship. I don't think Tony would have the Q deal right now if it weren't for his time at JFR, that's not to say that it never would have happened, but it might have been a little tougher.

I understand if folks don't root for John (we all have our favorites) or don't care for the way he runs his business/team, but the fact is that he is extremely successful and if people don't like it, then they should just beat him. Keep him from winning championships. Last time I checked two cars lined up at the line together, so line up and beat him or any of his team cars and then you don't have to worry about him.

Lately DSR has stepped up to the plate and they've out performed JFR. They deserved the championship last year, and Ron may indeed get another for Don (still a long way to go though). I don't ever hear John bit(h1ng about what DSR or any other team is doing strategy wise. As long as there aren't games on the starting line there should be no problem. If there is, solve it by going out and winning.

John started without much except for a tremendous passion, so blame that on why he kicks so much butt. You don't like team orders, then beat the team.

I love Tony P. & Whit, I root for both of them, I want to see them win rounds, I want to see Whit win a championship one day, but I hate it when everyone starts complaining about Force and how he may or may not dominate funny car. Instead of complaining, go out there and do something about it! It's that simple.
