Fuel qualifying at ATL

I just looked at the qualifying results for ATL and TF is .073 from 1st to 16th, FC is .097. Wow, that seems very tight, more like a Pro Stock field than a fuel field. Have I just not been paying attention and the competition is now this close or is this a pretty tight fuel field?

It certainly seems like it is a lot more competitive than in past years.

It's been that way all year..real close. Sure makes it exciting..no gimmies anymore.
