Hi everyone, I finally made the switch from webshots to smugmug so please be patient, I'm still learning how to use the different features such as trying to post individual pictures and how to load the full title I've given a particular photo. Here is Friday's edition, I'll try to get the rest up tomorrow. Enjoy.

Great shots, hope to see more in the future!!

Awesome pictures Mike! :) Of course I was partial to the Mike Edwards & Ron Krisher pictures. The clarity is amazing! I think the colors on the cars look better in your pictures than they do looking at them live. I wish I could take, post and work with pictures more. I hope you dint mind but I made one of them my PC background.

Actually Paul, I feel the difference was the f2.8 lens. I compared the pics I took with the lens I rented vs my f4.5/5.6 at the divisionals in Seattle and Woodburn over the last month and the better glass made such a huge difference. I wish there was a way I could justify spending $1850 on a lens that's not going to pay for itself.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Even though there are so many other photographers here whose pictures turn out much better than what I submit, it's still nice to be appreciated.

Very nice, who built the car?

Thanks! It's a Yancer chassis, (used to be Jenna Beckman's) but I completely rebuilt it, down to the framerails. Complete engine rebuild, all new wiring and plumbing, a whole new dash, new electronics, etc, etc. I did everything but the engine work. So I think the answer is: me. :)
