had to do a double take but she used it so fluently that if you weren't paying attention, you would have missed it. Hearing the F bomb everyday is nothing new to me.

I'm a big Alexis fan, but I'm thinking she's going to hear about this. In a PC world there's a big difference between slipping up using the s**t word and dropping f-bombs.

Didn't see it, but it doesn't bother me. I live in New England and I hear them in public all the time. My sister who lives in KC was amazed at the number of F bombs dropped in public around here. But that's taboo in the Midwest, do she was unaccustomed to it. Anyway, it goes to show some people get so into what they're doing they don't always think about what they say. How many dads out there hammered their thumb in front of their kids and let swear words fly? I know my dad did, including using the Lord's name in vain. Imagine if that let fly on live TV...

I've always heard that using such words is a sign of a weak mind.
Not saying I'm a saint, far from it but, to me, there is no good time to use such language in a public setting.
In private, all bets are off.

I've heard the opposite, that really intelligent people are more likely to curse. Totally anecdotal, but all of my super smart friends are potty mouths. I want to say research has been done in this. I should google it and see if it is bunk or not.

I hear the word every day too, but it still doesn't stop me from cringing hearing her blurt it out a couple times until they faded away and cut her sound. I understand how frustrated she was, but to piss about a chin strap and then throw those F bombs out with a mic in her face for a live show was bad.

spoiled, entitled, rich, never had to "work" for anything = results you just witnessed

sounded like Danica ....................

Sometimes it is the best word to convey your feelings, but a short broadcast delay with a "bleep" button would prevent it from being broadcast on live TV. I know that some folks find that kind of speech offensive and they don't want their kids hearing it. I understand that, and I don't fault them for it.

Who cares, that word is thrown out everyday, like it or not. She showed some emotion, good for her!

If I was talking to her in the pits, I wouldn't give it a second thought. But again, on live TV, it probably wasn't a good thing to do. And I get the emotion, I blurted out the same thing when I saw her cross the centerline!

I can tell by your post that you definitely DON'T know Alexis at all. I wish you could get a job working with her for a while and then get back with me and let me know if you still think your post describes her at all. Because, the truth is that she is just the opposite of everything you just said... except the rich part.

So, you honestly think, with all the unemployed drivers out there, she would have a ride without Daddys money?

If you can not bring a sponsor with you, you are not driving at that level.
