Executions to Resume

Thumbs up to that, my civility (is that a word???) ends when someone intentionally harms another person. Their right to life is over, as far as I'm concerned. Public hangings ought to be more commonplace.

I'd go out of my way to keep an innocent person from getting hurt. I go out of my way to help people where I can. When someone has bad intentions, I go the other way and my intentions toward them are no better than theirs are for anyone else. That's just me.

You've had plenty of people through history both, in positions in power and in low levels, who have tortured and murdered in gruesome ways for nothing more than their own selfish purposes. I have no compassion for what happens to them.

In my world, condemned prisoners would be executed in the same manner that they killed their victims.

And, instead of keeping them on death row, how about keeping them in general population so the rest of them (some of whom may come back out into society) can see what they go through while ANTICIPATING their death? Then tell me that execution isn't a deterrent.

BTW, hey Don. Howya been? Any chance for Bristol this year? Got a spare bedroom, an air mattress, a couch, an RV that sleeps 6, a semi truck, etc, etc.

Well, my friend, then you run the risk of thinking and acting just like the killer.

"Vengence is mine, sayeth the Lord". Jesus died for that killer, just as He died for you and me. And to Him, there is no degree of sin. No big sin or little sin. Sin is sin, no matter what shape it is in. Understanding these truths has done a lot to temper my own thoughts and feelings on subjects like this.
