Englishtown TV Coverage

Threatening skies. And for some reason, they always run this race on TV early. (4:30 start rather than the usual 7 pm) I dont even think the final round is done before they start the tv coverage.

the Pro Stock final, the last one of the race was ran at basically 5:40 pm. I left the park a little before 6 because the skies got real dark and it stormed again right when I got past the ticket gates to get to my car in the parking by the airport on the Goodyear Side of the track (side note; once again race done just in Time, same thing happened Friday Night, races were over before the skies opened up).

Also on a side note similar topic. during the rain delay, Instead of playing music the NHRA Mobile-vision was kept on and they played Last years NHRA SuperNationals ESPN Broadcast on it. Albeit at first because the Storm was still going, there was no sound. Once the NHRA Safety Safari got to work, they put the sound on during the 1st Round of FC and they played the 2011 version of the event until it was time to get back to racing. It had commercials and all. They would obviously mute it when Alan Bob or Leo had an announcement.

Thought that was a nice touch.

Weather must be why the stands looked pretty sparsley populated in the photos I saw from the race.

Also on the Qualifying show Sat (probably not friday night because it happened after qualifying) was there any Johan No Hitter mentioning from Lewis (the Met fan of the ESPN team)?

I really enjoyed it too. The college baseball playoffs had something to do with the timing aspect. a nice show and they got in the bikes. the qualifying show with leaving daves and gary's mics open for comments is cool.
