What was that for? I don't quite get that.

I'm alluding to the split screen on the ESPN Broadcast where Connolly was interviewed on the starting line and in the other Side Erica Hoists up the Wally then exclaims this prior to her interview.

She was asking all the camera men, photogs, fans, etc that are all down at the top end with her to be louder and cheer and yell for her.

Yeah, unfortunately, the shut down area is a very lonely place to get any win, let alone your first win! Remember Vandergrift?! He didn't want to be alone after his! All the biggest fans are more than 1/4 mile away!

Did you know Erica made HLN Monday morning? I caught it early (5:45 or so)before I went to work. Of course, the idiot sports guy they have has never seen a drag race. They may have corrected it later in the morning, but when I saw it they had left "Pro" off of her accomplishment making her the "first female winner of a stock car race". Wish I time to hit the web before I left.
