Elite has purchased Josh Hart's TF operation (22 Viewers)

Is this Tony's new ride for next year with Leah back to driving ????

This is exactly what I thought of when the purchase of Josh's team by Elite was made and the announcement of Leah getting back in the seat of her car for 2026. Tony could win the Top Fuel Champonship this year and I'm sure he wouldn't want to end his Top Fuel career this soon. Silly Season is already starting. I had high wishes for Josh Hart, especially after his instant success at Gainesville and his operation is nearby in Ocala, FL. Bummed that he has struggled for all these years to get consistent and competetive. He'll stay busy for sure, though.

IMO one step closer to some sort of merger between the nhra and the racers, or something game changing in the future.
this is a strong move for professional draging. i'm excited to see where they take it. great job richard freeman and tony stewart.

Not one person mentioned Lyle barnett in Elite's T/F car. He was supose to replace Leah until Tony decided to drive the car instead. Lyle is tight with Elite and wanted to step up. Highly doubt that Tony would drive a T/F car for Elite being he owns TSR and his own T/F organization. He'd buy his own car if he wanted to.

I would love to see Lyle get the ride and would’ve agreed with you about Tony, until just seeing that TSR & Elite has formed an alliance. Definitely make’s things a little more interesting.

Interesting indeed. Sounds like Josh is out of the picture unfortunately. Enjoyed rooting for him.
If Josh wants to run even on a part time schedule I’m sure he can find a ride. If he wants to run the full season and bringing the full amount of funding, JCM or AB Motorsports could expand. I just don’t think Josh wants his own team but still wants to race.
