Ed Sigmon passes.

I remember Ed racing back when my dad did, and I'm not sure he ever stopped. What a brutal week. RIP Mr. Sigmon.

Ed lived close by where I live and I would see him on occations at Coffee & Kix put on by his neighbor across the street where he lived. He was very nice and humble. He owned an HVAC and the work truck he has was a orange on white '70's Chevy C20 pick up with the name EC Sigmon on the side.

I think he was still racing up until last year.

And I remember you racing him. One thing that stood out on his cars was the engraving in the aluminum work.

I had forgotten about the engraving Randy. Very detailed cars. The pink A/SR was amazing.

I remember Snarpezel, the MG with the rat motor. Ed won the Winternats with that car. Saw it at San Fernando Drags.

I race Ed many times. First in the Butters and Gerard B/ED and later [When my partner. Bill Butters retired] in the Moeller-Whitby-Jackman C/ED.
