Jeb's brother Ed Allen passes

CompPlus reported that Ed Allen, former TF Champ Jeb's older brother, has passed away. I remember as a little kid, an issue of Drag Racing USA I believe, that featured the Jr. Fuelers driven by Ed and Les Allen. Phil Burgess recently did an article about Jeb at NHRA.com and I was happy to see him doing well. My condolences to Jeb, and RIP Ed.

My thoughts are with the Allen family as well.
I was lucky enough to drive one of those J/F'ers in the late 90's with my stepfather. He has a copy of that magazine at home someplace, with the Stinger and the Wasp.

It's amazing, I can remember the cover of that mag, and it has to be from, I would say, the late 60's?

I want to say '68? It talked about how both Les and Ed had won in the Stinger at the March Meet in J/F in '66 and '67 driving the Stinger. Some great photos too.
