Last year we had good luck with the Freehold Radisson. Clean rooms, not far from the track, and you pass Manalapan Diner on Rt. 9 on the way to the track....good breakfast and my favorite Eggplant Parmesan! In years past I've stayed at a number of hotels along the turnpike , all of which were hit or miss.
