Very Hearty in Super Stock & Stock, I'm really looking forward to it, now all i hope for is a nitetime qualifying session and another "Candyland sale Friday" weather.

Side Note Bode's name is in FC now

As always, I am looking forward to heading back "home" to E-Town. I hope the weather is great and we see some record performances.

Geeez I sure hope more than 12 TAFCs show.

by far based off the EL, E-Town has the biggest Car count total this season so far (Gainesville had 445 on the EL).

Second, in Pro Stock here's the entry list so far

Greg Anderson
Greg Stanfield
Mike Edwards
Shane Gray
Jason Line
Allen Johnson
Ron Krisher
Rodger Brogdon
Erica Enders
V Gaines
Frank Gugliotta
John Gaydosh Jr
Bob Benza
Vincent Nobile
Robert Patrick Jr
Mark Martino
Steven Spiess
Larry Morgan
Bob Yonke
Steven Kent
JR Carr
Ronnie Humphrey
Richard Freeman

Now I noticed Buddy Perkinson is no longer on the list and Jim Cunningham is from MD so he'd usually make the trek. But also notice, no WJ or KJ which is Bizarre, both of them should've been on the list by hook or by crook 1 week left before the cutoff.

As you see The Stock quota has gone up at the expense of the Super Gas quota, Plus Pro Stock and TF dropped because of JR Carr and Steve Torrence not being able to make it, but Pat Musi & Von Smith hasn't been dropped from Pro Mod yet. Could be a 470+ Car Count by the Cutoff on Mon 4pm EDT/1pm PDT

As of right now, if all goes according to plan, we have 18 tafc entered, and 4 of them are women, Alexis DeJoria, Melinda Green King, Cassie Simonton and now just added standout Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Car Racer Marie Ferriolo. E-Town was the first with 3 Females, this could be the most Females competing at a national event in TAFC with 4, now the big question is, will all 4 make the 16 car field?

Hi Rob. Bob will be in E-Town. The crews flights are already booked. Bob should be on the entry list pretty soon. When they put Norwalk on his web site, they had not decided about E-Town yet.

You Guys K A at E-Town and don't bother to take names.... We will Know... Top Half of the field... it's gonna be a Lil' Guy Weekend...

Looking forward to my 1st trip to Old Bridge. Hopefully the performance will be there.

OK here's the new deal in Pro Mod effective at Englishtown next weekend -- I'm driving the "Blue Streak" -- a Twin Turbo Big Block Chevy Powered '67 Firebird. Melanie is driving the "Silver Bullet" -- the Twin Turbo Big Block Chevy Powered '53 Corvette that I drove for the first 4 races this year and Leah is driving "Road Rage" -- a Supercharged Hemi Powered '68 Camaro.

Thank's Karl. We are going to give it our best shot. Nick and I are in Ohio right now headed that way. We usually service the car at the track after we are eliminated. But because we went to the semi finals at Houston, we didn't have time because of air flight schedules. So we just drained the fluids and loaded every thing up. Bob, Bonefire, and Rich went to the shop thursday night and thrashed until 2:00 am friday morning, and then Nick and I flew in last night so we could beat the holiday crowd at the airport. We will be there early enough to do our work at the track. Darn, it is starting to rain. Well now I can see if the new windshields that I had put in the truck, leak or not. But the real test will be when I pull into a truck wash. :)

Have fun in E-town! The Friday night session can be a beast if the air is good :D

I sure wish I was going; My workload won't allow for the trip this year. Gonna miss the eggplant parmesan at Manalapan Diner :(

and so far, No Al Ackerman in Comp, he should certainly be on the list by the cutoff.

Ugh

Thurs Sunny 86/60 54% Humidity
Fri Partly Cloudy 79/61 50% Humidity
Sat 30% Chance Isolated T-Storms 80/67 60% Humidity
Sun 30% Chance Isolated T-Storms 85/61 61% Humidity

I had high hopes a day ago, I hope it isn't gonna be high 70s into the 80s as it is predicted currently, the last few years have soured me somewhat when it comes to this event, despite the fact of tradition.

It is still too early to get a good forecast. Every source you go to you will get a different view. Here's the forecast from NOAA.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 79.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

Nick and I arrived in E-Town today monday and it is hot. The forcast calls for 60% chance of rain on wednsday, our set up day, and 30% on saturday. Over all it looks like it is going to be a pretty nice weekend for racing. :)
