When we were running the War Eagle nostalgia car with Pulde, Arend filled in at a couple races when Dale got sick. Not only a great driver but extremely knowledgeable and a great guy to be around.
Jeff wasn't productive enough in that car let's be honest worsham and Todd have won world titles in that car. Jeff did good enough not championship caliber

I like J.R, and especially Del, but honestly, that car's performance wasn't as hot when Jeff was driving it , and it wasn't consistent. I can"t remember driver errors, I don"t think Jeff was a weak link, it wasn't a championship caliber car at that point.
Was it wasn't as hot because they felt they could get more out of the driver's seat? I think a lot had to do with performance you don't preform you don't stay.
He crossed lanes in Pomona instead of lifting and nearly punted his opponent. Never heard from him again, and Arend finished that weekend. That's all that I could imagine is what happened. The Dunn team never wanted to comment on it.
