For one weekend...maybe.. The bigger story was how both Schumacher racing and Force racing donated parts and food to help Steve Pleuger and Dale Creasy Jr. run first round after that devestating explosion and fire. Kudos to both teams in an execeptional show of great sportsmanship!!! This sort of thing is what makes NHRA drag racing so special.

100% spot on. Hats off to both teams.There are those that "think" drag racing needs rivalries, drama, ect. Not me. These are the things that make it special.
Amen to that. I mean when those two teams are 50% of the F/C field they're bound to race teammates a few times a weekend and somebody's gotta lose. But the conspiracy theorists act like it's all carefully planned out in secret underground team meetings well ahead of time.
