Driver Updates? (13 Viewers)

NJ use to be the same way. I was attending an Oldsmobile car show and went to a restaurant and they didn't serve alcohol but you could bring it in. As I understood alcohol license were/are hard to get and not all places have them. Another thing, I was in NJ on another trip and stopped to get fuel and got out and grabbed the pump handle and a guy starts yelling for me to quit. You can't pump your own gas there or at least at that time.
New Jersey remains the only state in the Union that won't allow you to pump your own gas. Station owner gets fined $250 if they're caught letting you do it.

Years ago Texas made you join a 'members only club' at a restaurant which allowed you to bring your own liquor. Didn't matter what day it was; no membership card, you don't drink in here. That got to be such a hassle the state rescinded the law. By-the-drink now OK everywhere 7 days a week; no alcohol of any kind can be bought after midnight other than bars and retail stores can't sell hard liquor on Sunday. Quick and easy workaround: Stock up on your hard liquor on Saturday. Gee; I'm glad I thought of that...

What were we talking about, anyway? Oh, driver updates. Rumor has it they installed an autothrottle in Prock's Mustang until his foot heals. Sorry, I just had to.

That law, 77 years old, is supposedly in place to prevent fires, fumes, spills, etc but that's a smokescreen. The primary reason is to eliminate competition from smaller stations such as independent convenience stores. Not exclusive to gasoline - the push to eliminate smaller independent car dealers such as myself never stops and never will. That also applies to the NHRA.

Anyone ask about Camrie Caruso??? Wasn't that her name. Pro Stock, broke her leg in an accident maybe 2 or 3 years ago? If I remember correctly before that accident she was looking promising.

She stepped out of her car for a bit to start a family atleast that's what I thought I heard however she had Allen Johnson drive it in the IHRA MMPS class and Coughlin is in the seat for Norwalk.
