A wise and prudent move on her part.
Hopefully Ida will find some sponsorship. That would put another hungry driver into the mix. AND another top fueler
Sure is hard to believe that she hasn't landed a sponsor for a full-time ride by now. Seems strange to me.

BYW, where's Larry Dixon now-a-days?
Jegs (the company) wants to keep their name out there. Winning is nice but I don't think it is a do or die requirement.
c. ferre and s. palmer on list for BIR. wondering if totten, joon, or satenstein might consider filling last spot.
b. bode, j. campbell, and j. wyatt rounding out a 16 car FC field @ BIR. always great to see j. wyatt.
would love to see ida driving at BIR again this year. doesn't look like it though.
edit: also 2nd chad green entry not on bir list yet either.
Lex stated they will be updating their NHRA schedule soon, I know Indy is on the list. Would love to see him and Gerda get some funding and add more races. Love seeing Jack Wyatt out. Gilbertson has a good running car and could show up and be competitive about anywhere as well.
they did add Jeggy to the mix this year as he was a scag driver last year so I think the interest is still there for nowJEGS is held by a private investment firm and IMO if the numbers stop working they will pull the plug. I am sure there was some clause at purchase to fund the racing for XX years though.
Dixon ran Phoenix with Jaren Mott behind the wheel. That is his only racing appearance this season. I believe Vegas is on the schedule for Halloween weekend but that could have changed. As far as companies willing to put up "sponsorship" you can look around and there are many very good drivers sitting on the sidelines some much more seasoned ones.
Larry is happily running his two seater and did run IHRA some. When I talked to him at NT he said he had zero interest in returning to NHRA mainly because to hectic of a life.
I think we will see some once they get paid from the IHRA triple crown Columbus.I am guessing that being IHRA shut down nitro that some of the teams have some money left to spend. The question is will they run NHRA next year??
some1 said an arm injury, seems odd tho,esp with the very late announcement of him driving this year, maybe someome doesnt want to pay for a ride that loses all the time?? Arend does have it running much better thowhat happened to Todd Losenko?

How do we have this many comments and nothing about Skuza???![]()

True, it's a little sad that many good veteran drivers out there can't get a financial backing. Glad Larry is enjoying life but I'd love to see him return full time. Always was a fan of his.
And T J Jr, he's out of a job!How do we have this many comments and nothing about Skuza???![]()
I'm sure I heard at the beginning of the year that Shawn announced that he needed to spend more time running his business and Ida was going to be in his car for half the races. He's self sponsored so would she have needed her own money? Did I read that here? Anyone else?A wise and prudent move on her part.
