Read the news that there was a NASCAR race this weekend, all done on computer. I gather it was like a game, with the real drivers & broadcast. Had an audience of 30,000. Wonder if drag racing could do the same, at least until real racing resumes.

I saw that. I think it was IRacing. Since there will be no racing for a while I have been playing NHRA Countdown To The Championship, to get my fix!!

NHRA 2 Limited Edition. Only PC drag racing game that 100% will work on anything you have. 95/98/me/xp/vista/7/10. All the others are glitch headaches.

so the complus virtual deal is fun. just like the throwback funny cars from a few years ago, but it amazes me how the voting for the Q seeding almost goes rite in line with
the real world......the same popular drivers are getting majority of the votes......come on people, where's a little imagination. put the less known names in the field

I was gonna vote for Garlits & Prudhomme, but their names weren't on the ballot. Anyone remember Drag Racing Magazine and the "computer" race they ran, maybe around 1969?? They have a list of the all time great T/F, included Cook & Bedwell from 1957, Don Garlits from 1968 and don't remember the rest. They adjusted the times to fit the year they ran this race. Garlits ended up being the winner. Cook & Bedwell had top speed. It was really interesting. Dang, wish I had a copy of that.
