Really? You don't get it? Come on. We all know it was AJ's call as to which of those dragsters was going to win the Championship. Do you really believe Del out drove LD to the Championship?

I don't see any possible scenario in which this is the case. You're also insinuating that Del isn't in the same league that Larry is when it comes to driving and I'm not sure that's accurate, either.

IMO things developed behind the scenes at the end of the year that
led to larry separating from the team - but we/i will never know the
absolute truth nor should we.

We will never know the reason why Alan and Larry split. The difficulty that Larry has now is what Baze mentioned yesterday, changes in teams and drivers usually start solidifying at the US Nationals so they are all set for the next year. Larry's departure, for whatever reason, comes real late as most if not all the teams are already set for the next year.
I wish Larry the very best and hope that he is able to get with a top team between now and the Winters but unfortunately time is not on his side.

we will also never know if aaron & rob leaving for lucas is related to this
dismantling of al-anabi.
i think we'll see larry racing in 2012, just don't know if he'll have one or two
teammates.

As far as I know, the ONLY changes at Al-Anabi are the drivers. Aaron and Rob were at R2B2 this past season, so I would hardly consider Al-Anabi "dismantled". In fact, I still consider them the odds-on favorite to win the championship again next year.

I would also consider Al Anabi/AJR the odds-on favorite to win the 2012 championship and that "dismantled" is far from the truth.

In regards to Rod Centorbi (I'm guessing that is who you are referring to when you say Rob?), wasn't he assistant CC under Husen on Del's car this past year? I'm pretty sure that's the case and that he was not at R2B2.

I am not insinuating that at all. I am insinuating that one dragster was chosen over the other.

While AJ certainly gets to choose who has what on his team I think that the assumption that he chose one car to win the championship (by mere thousandths of a second) is pretty silly. JMO.

Yup you are correct.

Yup ... I had a brain fart regarding Rod. :eek:

yup, you guys are right - it's really not a dismantling;
wrong choice of word - and my error putting aaron w/al-anabi last year;
lost a year there i guess.... thanks for the corrections.
