how cool would it be For Larry to put his own deal together and bring Dick Lahaie back. . maybe even with Dale Armstrong as a tuning duo with Lahaie. . .. . .. There is a rumor to start!

Would be easier to start if either of those guys wanted to still tune. I think they're at the age where the travel is not very attractive.

Dixon, Coil, Bernsteins equipment, Copart sponsor. Now theres a rumor!

looks like no interviews are granted about it,well the rumors will fly now, guess thats about right if they wont talk about it lol

Whatever happens, I hope Larry Dixon does not join that all too long of a list of good (great) drivers without a ride.

I have my best man, Whit Bazemore, checking out everything and we'll record a podcast later today. It should be interesting to hear what Whit has to say about all of this!

I would love to see Whit in one of these cars!

So an unemployed former driver is going to ask another unemployed former driver what propects he has for the future. And hes going to get straight answers?

If I was Dixon, and I had any non-confirmed irons in the fire, I certainly would not tell anyone, especialy another driver looking for work.

C'mon John. . .It's rumor season . . . .this is the stuff ratings are made of!

FYI. I've been told that "nasty" rumor, which has been around for a while, is unfounded. and that's all I have to say about that! LOL

The replacements chosen by Alan Johnson to fill the TF seats will explain the departures of Dixon and Worsham more than anything else. I have my suspicions but I'll just wait and see.

wondering if anyone knew this split may be coming even as late
as vegas II or pomona?

- another 3 car TF team on horizon? (not a rumor, just a guess)

- complus reporting al-anabi private test @ PBIR today
IMO evaluating new TF rookie pilot (arnie karp knew fairly soon he was in over head)

- well, now langdon has been named - think by tomorrow or thursday
al-anabi will announce their other driver

Jim, don't waste your time.

It was the ralphing up of a rumor which has been circulating for months and it involved the sheik being in rehab. It was pretty disappointing to see it on her page. It also involved all the Al-Anabi money disappearing like magic from the sport.

I hope AJ and his new crew of drivers go out and steamroll everyone next year after all the crap they have had to endure over the last couple months.

Brian

Thanks!

The question remains-what's LD going to do? It seems the E-ticket rides are about all gone, possibilities remain:

• 2nd Vandrergif Car
• Maybe his own team, as posted before is Copart interested?
• What about crew cheif? In LD's career He's had nothing but the best !

It's a shame that it has come down to who is most arguably one of the top all time TF drivers ( not only in wins) not seen having a ride. I'm sure AJ, Lucas and DSR will all do just fine with their talented group of drivers, but it sure would be different to not see LD in the mix of things. Since his debut in the mid 90's he has been a threat every year with topnotch team and support.

Hope all works out well for one of the nicest and humble drivers out there

Still don't get replacing Dixon with Langdon. It appears Langdon did not bring money to the table so if they are only trying to save a little in salary for the driver, that should be chump change for the shiek. I like Langdon but Dixon is a great driver and ambassador for the sport and sponsors. Be interesting to see the reasoning if/when it comes out.
