Dave Densmore

Well, I hope it was on his terms and not like others that recently left JFR.

Opps...another one bites the dust. I'm a fan of JFR but he's not doing himself any favors the way this is occuring. He needs to sit down and lay it all out explaing in general terms why he made what decisions and put an end to all the constant drama. The rumors about drastic salary cuts, missed pay checks etc. all the while spending large dollars on his family is killing his credibility and driving away fans.

Enlighten us....What "large dollars" is he spending on his family??

I am sure Adria is drawing a very nice salary as Team Manager. I am sure Ashley is drawing a very nice salary as VP of putting videos on the internet. I am sure Robert is well compensated as El Presidente of JFR. I would guess that both Brittany and Courtney are compensated better than most nitro drivers. I am sure Laurie is drawing a nice salary of some sort. Not to mention he is willing to fund Brittany's car out of his own pocket rather than leave her on the sideline.

With all of that being said, if I was in the same position as John Force, I would do exactly the same thing. I would do my best to make sure that my success was shared throughout the family. At least the Force family works for it and are all vested in the company's interests rather than him just handing it to them.

How do you know that his family members/employees didn't take a pay cut along with everyone else and can't leave like others did.

It's all pure speculation. That's what keeps this stuff entertaining.

You are right, I am speculating. They may have taken pay cuts. BUT they still have jobs at JFR, and they still have big job titles at JFR, and they still have rides at JFR. I would safely bet that they are being paid better than the "help".

Again, I don't want my position to be taken as anti-JFR or anti-Force. It is emphatically not. As I said earlier, I would do exactly the same thing as John if the opportunity presented itself. I am just pointing out that the family portion of the payroll is pretty big, and it is not hard to see where someone could deduce that the family is getting "big bucks", whether it is correct or not.

Agreed, and don't forget Jacob and Noah's dad...

Dave Densmore's contract with John Force Racing was not renewed after the 2013 season. (I don't know why.) He did not retire, though. He worked for several clients in 2014, most notably Torrence Racing (where he replaced my father, Joe Sherk, who did retire at the end of 2013). When I saw Dave last month he said he intends to work for a couple more years.

Um isn't that how family business works? Family tends to come first in family businesses

You reckon Tony and Megan Shumacher get paid enough to stay off of food stamps?
