If it weren't for bad luck, he'd have no luck at all... this time his dragster went into neutral after the burnout.
Having spoken to the Rapisarda's at the Australian Winternationals in June, they will be the first to admit that racing NHRA is a big step up, and there is always learning to do. They are a young team and are absorbing all the info they can from the DSR guys. There is an open agreement that if Cory ever came up with the dollars and wanted to go racing in his own team, he would have their blessing. In the meantime, Santo's team are enjoying the opportunity to give an NHRA veteran a ride.
It just bothers me when people say Cory deserves a better quality ride. (more so on his Facebook profile, than here on the Mater). Santo's team would love to be more competitive given the investment they've made in racing NHRA this year.
That goes without saying, Down under you race what 4-5 Meets a year with 6-8 TF cars! As opposed to 23 races with 18-20 every week!
