I liked it I found the part about the SOHC motors chain stretch interesting as that's all I've ever read, one weak point was stretch yet Connie said it was bs

Great read guys. Thanks. I learned some things. I never realized they were running such a small gap on the spark plugs. As far as the chain thing on the SOHC Ford, I talked with a gent at the US Nats who had a Ford Torino NFC running one, and he said the same thing. The chain stretch issue was overblown. He said he's never had an issue with it.

The chain stretch thing is believable being 2 things, They maybe using a heavier duty chain and a good chance that the chain probably won't see 250,000 miles during it's life.
Everything is heavier duty on a fuel motor as far as I think.
