Congrats to the fastest mouth on two wheels for making it two in a row!

Job well done, for sure.

Gives me a reason to smile despite the weather down here....

Way to go Steve!!! And I believe only two of us maters picked Steve to win in the challenge!

Steve and his team are running on all cylinders. They have the fastest suzuki in the PSB field, and so long as they can keep up with the fast v-twins, I think that they may be able to win a championship.

STEVE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

So glad to see him racking up wins. as much as I hate the countdown I must say it would be awesome to see him win it all

I was happy as a clam to see Steve win. Imagine the celebration if he wins the whole deal? It's going to make the top end celebrations look small! :D

How can you NOT smile when Steve wins?? He is infectious!

Congrats to the whole Steve Johnson team....I had to especially laugh on Saturday morning with him in the crowd of people for Raceday holding his sign.."Single...long walks on the beach... I WON INDY!!" too funny :D

Could it be, PJ is starting to like a possible outcome from the Countdown:D. I think hell is freezing over.

NO NO NO NO NO NO and NO.

I still think its complete BS but if we are going to be stuck with an inept system then hopefully my favorites at least benefit from it.

I thought there was hope for you:D..... I still think you are a closet Countdown fan:D.

i guess a rider can get away with things like that when they're the owner of the bike also. i doubt if you'd see riders like krawick (sp) angelle or ellis doin' stuff like that !

hell he needed the sand in the body work to make weight. that is what a lot
of old day racers did. 5 pounds off the bike before the run is 2 to 3 hundreds faster down the track. hell if krawick would have not red lit steve would had to use the nitous button to win the race. hell steves been very fast in the back half numbers do not lie. i hate a cheater. by the way he said he was
a 22 year vetern and that he has got riding talent. could had fooled me.

Dude, I hope you're not serious. Nitrous, sand in the fairing for additional weight? Give me a break.

I spent all US Nationals week with Steve and his crew, from the time the trailer door was opened in the morning till it was locked at night and I assure you that there is nothing funny going on there. Just a good crew of hard working guys, a very talented Mark Pieser making the calls on the tuneup and clutch and a veteran driver who finally has the hp to green-light race rather than always having to cut a .00x light to win a round.

Yes sounds like some serious sour grapes.

Good for Steve. I can remember many years ago when he first started doing this, he would call me at the shop in the evenings because he was driving by himself to a race somewhere and had to talk to someone to keep awake.

Now he probably flys in in the SJR Gulfstream:p

If he was to pull off the championship deal, can you imagine what kind of champ he would be. The whole world would hear about motorcycle drag racing.

Steve; if you read this, call me.

Jay

Gee, thanks for that intelligent insight. We're all better people for having read it. Judging from your language skills, I'd guess you posted the message from the school library as you desperately try to get out of being in the seventh grade yet another year.

As others here who actually KNOW Steve have mentioned, he's the real deal, one of the greatest people I know in racing.

He's been with good teams and not so good teams, but regardless I'm happy to see him doing so well.
