I'm sure some here have frequented this site over the years, has anybody tried to log into it recently? It seems like it's no longer live.

I was one of the founding members of CFCB and it's sad to see what it's become. Since Clayton took over the board has been going downhill. Sometimes there aren't posts for a month. It seems that most of the members have moved on to the various Facebook Funny Car groups.

Yeah Bob I think that's true with many websites unfortunately.

The Classic Funny Car site has been pretty much unusable since March. A few posts have somehow trickled through since March but every time I try to post, the site won't let me. I do not post on there very often but I do check the site every day.... even now that it's broken, I still click that bookmark daily out of habit. I tried to send an email to Clayton over a month ago but I'm not even sure if he received it. I offered to buy the site from him if it was for sale but I never heard back from him. I don't do Facebook and I know I miss a lot of good information on there but I just refuse to use that website. I honestly believe forums will make a comeback someday after enough people get sick of Facebook. (for various reasons) I could be wrong but nothing stays the same forever. I could easily start a new forum from scratch but that's the easy part..... Getting people to find the site and use the site is a different story. Much easier to buy an existing site. Ideally the existing site gets fix and everything goes back to normal.

Never say never......
I agree. As an example, there are Corvette forums that are extremely active, with multiple threads going and constant posting. I believe Yellowbullet is still huge too. I'm sure there are many more. Maybe nostalgia FCs as a topic is too "nichie" and is better served on FB type social media.

I going to say Corvetteforums. 👍🏿 I prefer it over the Facebook pages. It's been very helpful as I have submerged myself into the Corvette world since 2019. I dumped the Facebook pages. To much political bs.

I have been a member of Corvette Forums since 2003. It and this one are the only two left that I visit. All the rest died. Corvetteforums used to be pretty heavily policed, then they had to step back on that to keep people from leaving. Still the best source of Corvette info.

There must be 8+ Nostalgia groups on FB, including Lions Dragstrip, Nitro Revival, Front engined dragsters, Etc.
