Sweet... Makes me like the McCains even more.

What about her old man? Does he have any interest in motorsports?

Why not Obama? OK, I'll quit before I start typing 200 reasons why not Obama even though there is way more than that as an answer to most any question.
Am I allowed to say that the thought of this guy in the White House scares me more than being a finish line flag man between the Nitro cars on the top end.

Doc you talking about a flag man between two Nitro cars reminded of that story in Grady Bryant's Match Race Madness book where he was racing Gene Snow with a hurt Chevy 427 against Genes high dollar fresh Hemi.

The first run he got the flagman aside and gave him a warning they had been having a little trouble with the car launching up on two wheels and going sideways at the line.

Knowing full well the hurt little Chevy Too Much 427 couldn't beat the Hemi heads up Roger Castor the crew chief loaded up the trunk with old heads and a rear end to make it go wheels up to give a great show and win the crowd favorite at least .

Then he disconnected the oil pressure gauge so Grady couldn't tell his engine was on it's last legs and shut it down

Seems the guy had never seen a funny car and when they fired up and did the burn out the fumes blinded the guy but he was determined to flag these beasts off .

Grady was ready for anything of course having set up the guy so when the flagman dropped the flags and jumped in the air then lit out just a running past the cars Grady was gone but Gene not knowing what happened was startled and was really late and the Chevy took the Win.

Grady and Roger had several other schemes they pulled on Gene that day.

Just one of many stories about those slow old factory experimentals in the old days.
Today's Pro Mods are faster than those old cars but they still were unbelievable to us kids.
Revell even thought they were special enough to copy.
Thanks for the Memories Grady and RIP Jungle.

Drifting = Autoracing, I DON"T THINK SO!!!:confused:

Hell, we used to slide around damn near every corner and absolutely loved dirt roads. All those two things ever did was get me in trouble with my Dad for tearing up the tires.:D:D

Hmmmmmm.........motor, tires, competition.........

I think that can be defined as a motorsport.

The fact that she does this with her son makes it admirable.

Some out there do not consider drag racing a motorsport, rather a red headed stepchild.

I prefer not to diss other forms of competition others enjoy, it's disrespectful.
