Susan green of woodstown, n.j., named 11th napa auto parts honorary crew (1 Viewer)

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 13, 2010) - Susan Green, of Woodstown, N.J., was
selected as the 11th NAPA AUTO PARTS Honorary Crew Member of the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series today at the 41st annual NHRA
SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.

Assistant manager at Williams Auto Parts in Salem, N.J., a NAPA AUTO PARTS
store, Ms. Green is a long-time race fan, having grown up around dirt
tracks, NASCAR and even drag strips. "I've been to races before I was born,"
she said. "My father loved dirt-track racing, and I always went to the races
with him as a 'wee' little kid. I used to cry when he wouldn't take me.

"I was born in Salem, N.J., and we did have a '73 Chevy Camaro Z28 bracket
car in the '70s," added Ms. Green, 53, who has been with NAPA for 23 years,
"and my stepson does motorcross racing now."

As for her longtime relationship with NAPA, "Love it. NAPA is great. They
have good promotions, and they're a good company to work for."

This is her first visit to the NHRA races in Englishtown, although she's
been to Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pa. She says she watches NHRA drag racing on ESPN and follows Ron Capps and the NAPA Funny Car team in NAPA's Outlook Magazine.

As for how she was selected to be the NAPA Honorary Crew Member, "I have no idea, I have no idea," she said.

Jeff Riling, senior vice president of Quaker City Motor Parts, a member of
NAPA AUTO PARTS, does know how Ms. Green was selected. He was on hand today in the Don Schumacher Racing pit area to help present her the award.

"We reached out to some of our independent store owners and asked them to
tell us about some of their employees who had an interest in drag racing and
why they think that they should be the Honorary Crew Member," he said. "And
(store owner) Joe Williams selected Susan. He thinks she does a fantastic
job serving her customers, is a real team player in the store, and he
couldn't think of a better person to give it to."

Riling also enjoys the relationship NAPA has with DSR and NHRA racing. "For
us, it's just been absolutely fantastic," he said. "It gives us the
opportunity to bring the national presence to our local markets, to help our
customers, to help our associates and create that whole team atmosphere."

Ms. Green's non-wrenching crew-member duties included escorting the NAPA
Batteries Dodge Funny Car to the staging lanes for Sunday's first
eliminations round. She then helped retrieve the car at the end of the track
after Capps' run.

The side window of the NAPA Batteries Dodge sported her name as the NAPA
AUTO PARTS Honorary Crew Member this weekend.

She also met and chatted with the entire NAPA Dodge Funny Car crew, was a
special guest in the NAPA hospitality area throughout the weekend, received
a NAPA team jersey, experienced an up-close-and-personal view of the NAPA
crew as the team worked on the car, and enjoyed a private tour of the team
transporter and pit area.

NAPA AUTO PARTS distribution centers at each NHRA event during the season
have different criteria for choosing the persons who are potential NAPA AUTO
PARTS Honorary Crew Members.
