2 people running for the championship, Edde and Matt. These are the tow most consistent riders in the sport, Eddie has yet to win a race and is still fighting for a championship but you are right Ryan Shnitz is still better.....ya right quit lying to yourself

Mike put Ryan on any motorcycle out there and he will go faster then the current rider... He's that good.... Just because he's not on a top bike right now doesn't make him a bad rider....

Why has every major team in the class tried to hire Ryan? Because he's the best out there. Ryan is loyal to Rob....

;
2003 Geno Scali won the Championship with Vance & Hines engines.......

Karen Stoffer has ran 6.90 with her Vance & Hines engine......

If Vance & Hines had a Suzuki runing out of their camp.... It would be just as fast as their Harley.....

Wasn,t Steve Tartaglia still working for Vance and Hines when Geno won in 03?;)

Why yes he was..... But even Steve will tell you Byron would have a Suzuki flying right now if they were racing one....

Doesn't your girl hold the record on a Steve Tartaglia Suzuki? :D

i wont post my own quote because you can go back and read it but i made reference to the suzukis that vance and hines used to ride. Vance and Hines makes motor components for everyone out there. Well i would have to assume this is because it is proven that if you want motor work done right and to preform the best, you take it to Vance and Hines

I don,t know where you get your information from, but I doubt Steve gets his parts from Vance & Hines. Like Shane said Steve still has the bike that holds the world record. FYI.;)

Mike I can promise you the only teams running V&H part on their bikes are V&H engine customers.

With Peggy's Buell last year there wasn't one V&H part on there when we beat the V Rod in Dallas:) .... V&H doesn't make parts for Buells.... S&S does.......

Steve Tartaglia doesn't need any V&H parts to go fast.... Steve is a very smart man....

Back to the real topic... The McLaren/Suzuki/Tartaglia engine will be a force out there soon.... Suzuki has put the right people in charge to make sure of that.

ya you are right they actually make their own cylinder heads at DSR and always have...... ya right so i ask you where does these cylinder heads originate?

Rick Ward from Ward Performance supplies the Vortex 2 cylinder heads that Steve Tartaglia ports and preps to his specs.

The Vortex 2 head and the V&H head are 2 different things.

Anything else?

They have a lot of work to do to get that McLaren motor to a competitive level. I am just not sure if they can get it all done by Feb; then they have to come up with a chassis and body

The mounts look like old Suzuki position-so thats covered-just need a new motor plate for the drive side. And the 1st bike race isnt till Gainsville. I'm betting if Suz. has anything to say about it, the 'busa body over a 'busa engine makes the most sense.

Hey Shane, you never returned my call after Peggy won last year. What's up with that, LOL??? Where are you working now, I didn't see you at Indy but that doesn't mean you weren't there and I didn't see you? Do you realize that I must be Steve's good luck charm, he's won Indy twice now and both times I was there!
Send me a PM if you want to return my call.

I'm not sure why Suzuki or anyone else would spend that kind of money to develop a new motor for NHRA pro stock racing. NHRA has made it quite clear that they want an American motorcycle winning the championships.
If the new motor comes out of the box and smokes everything I would bet it will not take NHRA long to put an end to the winning!
It's a shame when the sanctioning body decides which brand of bike will win.

JC!!!! What's up man? Sorry I didnt return your call after Dallas. I think I had about 100 voicemails. I was so happy to see Steve win Indy this year and get to celebrate this time. I'll give you a call soon.

Mike, from what I understand the motor mounts on the new engine are the same as the current engine so fitting it in the current style chassis shouldn't be a problem. I would expect Chip to be testing the new engine before the first on the year.
