When I flew to the US fourteen times since 1978 I only flew British Airways once, I flew Virgin Atlantic once and the other times I always flew by US carriers.

I considered British Airways service to be crap.

British Airways is supposedly called "The World's Favourite Airline," but that's by those who fly Business Class.

Virgin Atlantic is the best British transatlantic airline and American Airlines is the best US transatlantic airline. IMHO

Yeah, but Mr. Branson needs to invest in a bit more plys of the toilet paper he calls seats...... By FAR the WORST seats I have ever flew in Coach have been on Virgin Atlantic (way too many LAX-London flights)...

I sure wish they would investigate American Airlines out at DFW. They have choked everyone flying out of that airport and Texas in general since 1974!

i have flown many times to the US for races and can honestly say that british airways were the worst i ever used.
virgin were far superior

Aint that the truth! When i went to Australia and NZ on Singapore Airlines i was comfy, had lots of leg room (i am 6ft 4) and the food and service was second to none!

I am flying with them again in November.
