So golf encroaches on the race and then we have to cut short so the stupid horse race can start on time. I don’t get it.

I second that. His reaction is just the passion of someone who has the fire to be a winner. How often do we complain about racers who give generic, corporate responses, win or lose. It's good to see some real competitive fire. There is a line between his behavior and that of someone who blames everyone/everything except themselves when they lose. That would be a cry baby who needs to mature.
