Brian Thiel vs V. Gaines

Why anyone would ruin a Peterbilt by painting the bumper, stacks, wheels, air cleaners a black powdercoat is beyond me.
V's is still a classic looking Pete, and that thing is SWEET!! Just like all his OTR trucks at Western Dist. You ask me, he has the nicest fleet (big or small) of any trucking company in the entire United States!

One other thing a lot of you might not know about V's truck. It doesnt lack any power under the hood either. That rig can do 100 mph over the rockies if they wanted it to. It's fast!

I'll second the vote on V's rig being fast, probably the fastest on the circuit with the big Cat engine. The Volvo and Cummins powered rigs can't run with V.

I have always told Tim the worst part about hauling his car around is getting used to 'no hood' sticking out in front of me and 'no power' under the hood... I have ran "Big Cats" in my trucks since the mid 70's and have ran "Long and Tall " Petes and W 9's since the early 80's...And believe me 600 to 800 hp. with an 18 speed and 3.36 rearends can handle 80,000 pounds easily... we pull 'trains' out here when we run local and haul 106,000 lbs. and stretch out to 120' overall length. Then when running interstate we go back to 5 axles and 80,000:rolleyes::rolleyes:
