I was watching the early qualifying show from Sunday, during which there was speculation whether any qualifying would happen. At the time Brian Thiel was qualified and would have faced Matt Hagan in the first round. There was some comment made about whether he (Thiel) or Paul Smith would show up. What happened? There's been more talk about John and Tony but nothing about this. Was it just a disagreement and a parting of the ways?

The car was there out of the trailer on both days. I think the quote on the show was a blow up, I am not sure if it was a parts blow up or a relationship blow up.

It was actually Hight that was set to get the single if they didn't run Sunday.

From what I hear.......Theil wasn't going to be around to drive the car, not sure who exactly wanted it that way.

Before I begin I realize that there are 2 sides to every story. The story that I got from a very reliable person that Mr. Thiel's ego was so BIG that it couldn't fit into his helmet, the drivers compartment or into the race trailer/hauler.
