Bowling with the stars of the NHRA


Got my balls and shoes right here, just waiting for my invitation....

It's funny that a few years back about every other hauler had bowling equipment. Mine rode in Vandergriff's for a bit then in Tasca's and going bowling was a pretty regular thing for a long time. Haven't heard a single bowling story recently. I guess times change......

Back in the day our trailer carried golf clubs, rifles/shotguns and pistols. On parking day drop the trailer pass out cold bottled water and/or sodas to the parking crew then find a course or range. Those were the days!
 
I seem to recall reading that both Del and his dad Chuck were big bowlers at one time. Maybe they still are. In fact, I think they had an actual bowling alley at their shop in Orange, CA. Maybe upstairs?

They used a nitro motor on their margarita blender, what the bleep could they have used for their bowling ball return?😜
