If any number of the top three qualifiers in any specific session is a non-points earner, do the points for that spot dissipate?

Scenario, if the numbers one and three qualifiers are countdown participants and number two is not, are they awarded 3 and 1 points, with 2 points going to no one or, are the 6 points awarded every session to the top qualifying participants regardless of where they are in the field.

Okay, here's a thought that could show just how silly the whole playoff and power-ups and the rest of of the "My Space" Championship 'Race' really is...

Remember, this is coming from a hard core JFR fan...

Cruz nails #1 at 4 or 5 races and wins about the same amount...
C-down cars have problems getting past round two... Hagan, Head and Cruz all go on a rampage and even Dunn/Toliver win a race...

Not that I think in even "A Perfect Storm" that Cruz or Matt could have come back for the title... but it sure would have made thing interesting...

As it was, Pre-Cut, we HAD a great Run for the Championship going... but throwing in the 3-2-1 per round qualifying 'bonus' really just muddies up the whole thing even worst...

and Glendora, if you don't want people 'testing' on Saturday, ya shouldn't have stuffed the '4 test' "rule" in... or be real about it, 4 days on a car, which equals chassis in the fuel classes. If you can't afford to test, YOU DON'T TEST.

By the way, at each track, sometime in qualifying, you have to try to 'step over the line' to see what the track will hold.... or prep the track different for Q1 tru Q4 and different still on Sunday.
