I have been fortunate to spend a lot of time in the winners circle and have a few special memories of different drivers and circumstances. Yesterday is at the top of the list. Over the years Bob and I have worked, traveled and roomed together more times than I can count. We have even shared the winners circle with me doing the pros and him the sportsman. When I ask him after all the times he had stood on the stage as the interviewer, "How does it feel to be on the other side of the mic?" he actually got a little misty. Then when he got the ice chest dumped on him by Jim Hughes and Big Head it was pricless.

Wat to go Unk, there's no doubt that you were the best man that day.

As another guy who has roomed with Bob (on the "other" tour), I was screaming for him when I saw the results. Very very very cool!

I think the guy may be getting a complex about all these other guys telling the world that they've spent the night with Bob in a hotel room, but what the hell...ha!

Its gonna be years before they scrape that cheshire cat smile off your face bro.
