I guess it isn't surprising, but I have to admit I didn't realize he was that large/diverse. Pretty common for the big wheels (no pun intended) to be owners of several varieties.

Jed told the story back when they installed the new scoreboard displays, he had the old displays re-installed on the back sides so they can be seen from the other end of the track. This was back when those new private houses (as seen in your picture) were being built. He wanted to see the score boards from the deck of his dad's new house.
I can't remember if he told me that story to my face, or if he told that story on the 1320 Video episode where those guys toured the new private houses.

all very interesting. I just hadn't realized Tasca was that diverse and big. Good for them.
The Robinson family in Wheeling used to be like that too, had several brands and was pretty local, but I think they've dispersed now. Ricart, just south of Columbus, OH, is another one with several brands; #1 Cochran, and Bowser, around Pittsburgh; I think Jeff Wyler is too; Coughlin; and of course the Hendrick franchises.
Actually I've heard that many of the former "local" franchises are selling out to the large, "mega" owners. A lot less new car dealers than there used to be, particularly in more rural areas.

They bought a Ford dealer in Midlothian. But they closed it after a few months. Kinda strange.
