jerry tucker & alan prusiensky bring PS total to 19. alcohol fields slowly filling.
yesterday a bunch of small diamond wally's were awarded. great day of racing. followed on youtube all day.
class is just awesome ...... i mite be off by a few, but i think i counted 69 SS'rs and 91 STK'rs. great fields.
they are taking 60 for the nationals next week. yesterday the 60th stk'r was -0.711 under, and 12 cars were over a second under.
i'd say pretty stout for a non-indy field, as well as 12 comp cars competing yesterday.
lynsi snyder ran great yesteday too in TS qualifying #8.
Hopefully nhra gives dodges more rpm!Nice to see Prusiensky back out. That would be a haul for him, if he's coming from NJ. Maybe he'll enter at Indy too then.
Always good to see Alan at the track. He was in Sonoma. His car traveled to CA in Kenny Delco's trailer.Nice to see Prusiensky back out. That would be a haul for him, if he's coming from NJ. Maybe he'll enter at Indy too then.
Nitrous would provide the extra RPMs...Hopefully nhra gives dodges more rpm!
ha! no, but can recall a race or two back in 90's where i bet the overnight lows might haveHas the Brainerd race ever had snow or below freezing temps if an unseasonable cold spell passed thrpugh during race weekend?
No snow, but I've seen overnight low's in the 30's before. It's been 20 years or so though.Has the Brainerd race ever had snow or below freezing temps if an unseasonable cold spell passed thrpugh during race weekend?
I believe Totten sold his car.here it is the week of the brainerd national event and not even a presenting sponsor.
BIR joins the zmax 4wides, SGMP, and so far rockingham, as events with no sponsor tied to them.
yet we have an nhra official illumination sponsor, and an nhra official discount app.
CGM only fielding one FC (first time this year i think?), and no dunn racing.
no creasy, no luigi novelli TF'r, no t. totten. very thankful for at least full field in TF. it just looks better on tv.
It's plan C. They have been testing it. Not much down low (yet) but it moves on the big end. I'm very curious to see how it runs in Brainerd.Interesting to see Jake Slater driving the Worsham FC in TAFC this weekend. Now is this a nitro injected entry or blown Alky combo? I know NHRA had a new blown nitro combo for TAFC but I don’t think it is legal yet.
I was thinking that combo wasn’t legal yet but you definitely know more about it than I would. I think it ran 5.63 when testing during the Midwest race up in Michigan.Correct, Slater is driving the new blown nitro TAFC combo
Speaking of Del Worsham, didn't he build the first nitro blender at a race in California back in the day?just came across my youtube.
